Jun 29, 2016 He got me into the genre back in 2002. My friend played me The Eminem Show thinking I would enjoy it.
Jun 29, 2016 Pretty sure Eminem was the first rapper I listened to as a kid. My friend burned me the MMLP and Country Grammar CDs when I was in 5th grade and I would listen to them on my Walkman. k--- You was the first Eminem song I ever heard.
Jun 29, 2016 my first experience with hip hop was 1996 blackstreet & dre wit no diggity the first em song i heard was eminem's backstabber and then it went on....
Jun 29, 2016 Well, like most white kids lose yourself was the first hip hop song i ever heard, but it didn't make me a rap fan, I was more into classic rock and went though a bunch of phases with other genres. I was more or less a casual listener of rap untill K.I.D.S by Mac Miller dropped, it made me dive deeper into the genre and actually start listening to albums front to back like I do now.
Jun 29, 2016 eh, its ok nothing really special about it. Never became a big fan of the guy, though Faces and WMWTSO are really good projects.
Jun 30, 2016 well, well, well I remember my first time when I heard about hip-hop it was really with Em on TV ... MTV and I thought...well I'm from Russia and didn't understand no words))) BUT I liked it! No doubt! Now I'm middle aged and I now English language better then when I was small))) and of course I understand a lot of hip hop lyrics by Em or another artists!)
Jul 1, 2016 Got into rap/hip-hop thanks to Em, specifically The Eminem Show, which remains one of my favourite albums ever... my Mum bought it for me for my 8th birthday (what a ripper Mum), and then got into everything before and after that that he did, and through that got onto so many other artists, then found local Aussie hip-hop which I love and now pretty much all I listen to is hip-hop!
