I still dont get why this guy uses others work like PND. He took PNDS entire Company/Legend track and reworked them into multiple songs. Like idk why he does it, He clearly has the talent... Look at NWTS, most of that s--- was written by him and the best songs on Views are all Drake ft Drake on the production notes.

This guy seems like he's either lacking in confidence or he doesnt really care enough to write his own s--- and the latter is probably true


Why does he use lyrics from other guys it takes away from his credibility as a hip-hop artist imo. Like it doesn't bother me when it comes to the song but knowing that this guy literally CTRL X CTRL V other peoples work into his songs makes me think he stupid...

Especially after Meek called him out bout it

He hardly took anything from Company. He has gotten a little lazy though, even his recent live performances have been kinda lackluster.

99% of artists do it, but people frown upon it in hip hop, however drake is more than a hip hop artists.

Drake is a pop artist, not a hip-hop artist. He doesn't have credibility in hip-hop. He should just stick to making songs like Controlla and Too Good all the time now because I can still rock with them. He can't make serious songs like he used to, Redemption was awful, he can't make songs like that or Marvin's Room anymore.

Redemption is not an awful song lol. Marvin's Room is 10/10, so yeah most likely he never makes a song like that again.

He's never claimed to be this or that, he makes rap songs, he sings, he makes pop songs. His main appeal is his versatility. He's been this way since before SFG.
