Jul 14, 2016 that's probably accurate, blank face as in no emotions this applies to how Q feels now, how his life has left him up to this point, and how his character (the no face killer) acts in his violent lyrics
Jul 14, 2016 Ok that's what I figured but I just wanted to make sure before I listen to the album again fully. Groovy Tony made me figure the meaning considering how the violent the build up of his delivery is until he just mellows out and says "blank face." Anyways, spectacular album. My first thought after listening fully was I love it, but I'm not sure if I loved this more or Oxymoron. Since then I've just been listening to random songs here and there, depending on my mood. However, sometime tomorrow I plan on sitting down and listening the whole way through again. One thing I do appreciate though is how freaking well the album just flows together seamlessly from song to song yet...there isn't ONE distinct sound to the entirety of the project. It's a great variety that just flows well together.
Jul 14, 2016 first listen - i'm not overly crazy about it, will give it a few more spins tho probably
Jul 14, 2016 Whateva you want is an amazing song, I just can't get into the rest of the album. Str8 Ballin is good.
Jul 14, 2016 If Q is already talking about releasing it though makes me almost think he's going to do a UU type of thing. And release some cut tracks. Top dawg did say kendrick wouldn't be the only TDE member to have that approach.
Jul 15, 2016 This album succeeded my expectations. I absolutely HATED oxymoron but this project is leagues above that. This album is really good.
Jul 16, 2016 hmm...I haven't bumped this as much as I thought I would but I'm going to give it some time in my library
Jul 18, 2016 Same. It's too good through and through honestly It's a too 5 track for me. I love it and it really grew on me.
Jul 19, 2016 I really like it. That album low key converted me in to an Q fan tbh. By any Means or Big Body are my favs so far. I can feel that this album gonna last if you dig what I mean. Definitely not a throwback album (at least for me)
