I've just received my MF DOOM CD I bought for 25$ I won here in Puzzle game. I look at my collection, I only have like 40 CDs, and I'm wondering why I do not buy these so often anymore. I don't even remember last time I actually bought something. I don't like streaming music, but I guess I got used to it now. I still love the feeling of a CD case, the smell of the lyric book, all the little drawings or pictures artists include. I think that it is really important for an album, for it's consistency, for its feeling. Like Doggystyle, it wouldn't be the same without the little comic inside.

Here are some pictures, d--- this looks great.

The only CD's I have are Jay Z's The Blueprint and The Weeknd's Beauty Behind The Madness.
Might get some more when I have spare money. I love the feeling of actually having it opposed to just listening to it on Apple Music.

I do but I've been slacking this year. Most of the albums that I like, I already own and there aren't that many newer CD's that call my attention. I prefer buying a CD to paying for a download or a stream. Buying CD's isn't the same as it was in the 90s or early 2000s. Walking through aisles of different albums, discovering new artists, buying albums randomly because you liked the cover or tracklist or because somebody briefly mentioned that artist to you. Virgin, Tower, The Wiz, FYE, Coconuts, etc are pretty much all gone (there's one FYE store in Queens that I know of but it's only a matter of time before that one closes down). Best Buy doesn't carry nearly enough albums. Fat Beats closed down almost 6 years ago, Other Music closed down last month. CD's are becoming a thing of the past. Ordering CD's online is okay but it takes away from the experience of actually going to the store, hearing it in the store (Virgin used to do that).

Yeah, if I really like the artist or the project I will. The last few I haven't opened the factory seal on (as I got the itunes copy of them Dl'd).
