nah, that's not why I'm asking. I already know I'm getting ps4. not because I think it's better--just because I'm use to PlayStation

I like for ppl to state which console because that way I know who I can destroy

The last one I couldn't stand when u threw the ball ... the ball always bounced of the receiver or corner back hand & it was a 60% chance that the ball was going to get picked

I hate the throw-on-run stat. It's RIDICULOUSLY broken and unrealistic. I'll be rolling out with Romo, aiming for a receiver 10 yards to my right and he'll throw it 50 yards to the far left. So f---ing dumb. Needs to be fixed.

Some of the glitches the last few years have been absolutely absurd so idk, one of them made it completely unplayable, my franchise would just stop loading at some random point in the season and I wouldn't be able to continue that franchise. Had to start over every time it happened. It was a common glitch and me and many others waited forever on the EA forums for EA to fix it and they never did. I pretty much only play Franchise so this ruined the game for me and really pissed me off. Madden shouldn't be allowed to have a monopoly on the NFL videogames market, it creates an atmosphere in which these glitches happen and don't get fixed (XB1).

Yikes that sucks. I'm the same way, all I play is franchise over and over again, I'd be pissed tf off if that happened to me.

I really enjoyed the last Madden, had a nice franchise going on for a few years like usual when after an update the AI opponent started getting false start on offense 9 times out of 10 or more. Completely broke the game. Haven't played it since.

both things s---, but @Riley what you described above bothers me a lot more than MIC's complaint. in other words, i hate glitches/gimmicks in the GAMEPLAY. if there's too many of them, it ruins the game FOR ME

with the exception of last year, i've pretty much played madden every year since like 2003/2004. and the only reason i didn't play it last year, is simply because i haven't played hardly any video games in the last year and a half or so and i still need to get one of he latest consoles.

were there a lot of issues like this in last year's version?

I do have a lot of small gripes about the gameplay, like really small nitpicky things. But they do piss me off. Things like what I mentioned above, or like there's this other feature they added, it's a contested-catch feature where like if you throw a ball up to your receiver, and the defender is close enough, it'll trigger this animation of them both going up for the ball, and it's supposed to look all cool and realistic and exciting, and sometimes it's cool. But then sometimes, my receiver will have the DB beat on like a fade, no question, and the QB puts it right on the money, in stride, and if the game would just let the WR catch the ball like normal, it would be a huge gain. Instead, the game tries to get cute and it triggers that bs contested-catch animation, and the DB will warp ahead to my receiver and somehow knock the ball away in this animation. Like that's unnecessary, and really frustrating.

Also for some reason when your WR catches a pass, they automatically veer up field towards the endzone. Sounds like no big deal, but there are times when, if my receiver would just catch the ball and continue running the direction that he's running, he could gain like 10-15 more YAC. But, because of that automatic veer-upfield mechanic, my WR will ever right into a safety or corner, and he'll get no YAC. Don't know if I explained that well, but it's incredibly frustrating some times.

But yeah like I said, a lot of my gripes are nitpicky, but they do annoy you. That being said, I still love to play madden every year and I imagine I'll continue to buy it annually lol

so some minor things in the gameplay, but from what i gather it doesn't sound like anything major that would really take away from the fun-ness of the game. that's great to know

and i agree, i love playing it every year as well. and because NFL is insanely popular in America, its very easy to to find other people to play against. this would be true even if you didn't have an online mode.

Maddens default game setting/sliders are broken. Custom settings and sliders go a long way to improving the game for me at least.

Yeah I don't know, maybe you didn't have to pay tax for some reason, mine was 47.99 plus 4 something taxes.

Correct. Its more for franchise mode.

I could be wrong but if there's an Amazon DC in your state then you pay state tax. I remember in Wisconsin I never paid taxed on Amazon until they put a distribution center in south east wisconsin and now I pay tax. Bit it's ok cause I get stuff next day if that DC has what I ordered.
