Did anyone help @Worm out with a box of tissues with it being a-rods last game as a Yankee? Ik he's shedding a few tears. He isn't fooling me lol. (Jk around chief, been waiting to say that since 2012 tbh.)


It will be weird not seeing A-rod playing for New York. He was one of the best to do it, regardless of the steroid run when over 70% of the league juiced.

Also, a few days ago, some sport analysts were saying he plans to take a coaching role with the Marlins. With some of the reporters thinking he'll still play. He's still pretty f---ing ripped and seemed to be in decent conditioning shape for his age. I think he can still play another season or 2 IMO. He really has nothing to lose. I have a feeling he may be the Brett Farve of baseball, double questioning his retirement.

I actually turned on the game before his last bat. s----d it was just a ground out, It'd be d--- cool to see him finish with a hr. I guess he still may have one more bat if the team gets quite a few hits. Hopefully so.

He ruined his career but at the end of the day he's one of the best baseball players of all time and would've been without PED's. I think he's a really fake guy, but he's handled all of the criticism like a man. He's the most hated player, while Ortiz is one of the most celebrated and both took PED's. You can't say F Arod and celebrate players like Ortiz.

Arod is a much more blatant cheater. Ortiz popped once in 03, but even at his request they wouldn't say what exactly it was for. Kinda BS tbh, that whole 03 anonymous testing release in 09 was really.

I personally don't give a f---, the steroid era was when baseball was at its best.

Arod technically never tested positive. I think the majority of players do it. They have s--- that's out of your system before a games over. Him lying about it, having a huge contract, being a Yankee and having a douchey past made him a scapegoat. I don't really care about players juicing either tbh.

Mookie Betts with a 3 HR, 8 RBI game. Now 26 HR's 84 RBI and 18 steals w/ a .313/.353/.561 slash. Thats an MVP caliber season normally but MVP will probably go to Altuve or Donaldson.
