    Honestly you can tell Kanye and Drake don't want to attack Cudi. Not out of fear, but mutual respect. Cudi started the most awkward beef ever here.

    Copied this straight from KTT lmao but it's a good theory.

    my take on this is that cudi probably was heavily involved in creating Ye's turbo-album (hence the "day 2" tweet a couple of months ago) and Ye probably just made a turn and scrapped(?) or made the album into the collab with drake. We haven't been hearing much about the album lately so..

    Didn't blow up until the Kanye cosign. Also, without Kanye making 808s (yes I know Cudi had a part in making the album) it wouldn't have been acceptable to be so emotionally open in the mainstream rap world.

    He would've blown up with or without Kanye. In all honesty, he already had.

    808's would not nearly have been the same without Cudi
