Sep 20, 2016 You can and will always be able to find comfort where real rap music resides: the underground (I'm aware this is not a cool term anymore, but it still applies). This is of course highly subjective. I don't even visit any of the rapper sections in this forum, but it's just comforting to know that there's people here that appreciate good rap music, in general. Or maybe I'm just outdated, I'm sure there must be dope mainstream rappers out there, as there always have been, this talk is so old. I just don't have the time anymore to give it that much time, so I focus on what I know will be good: struggling creative rap artists trying to get noticed.
Sep 20, 2016 No sorry we are from different worlds. I didn't really know my dad so he wasn't around and my mother played motown n bob marley. Sorry rich boy we ain't relating.
Sep 20, 2016 We've been in worst eras, but I'd agree as someone on the wrong side of twenty, that we aren't exactly in a golden age, if you get me. It's been undeniably worse though.
Sep 20, 2016 I remember when things like this were popular. One time back in middle school some little trendy rap song came on the radio when I was with my mom and I awkwardly turned it down lol
Sep 20, 2016 Nope. I prefer the weirdo era over the ringtone era anyway. 2006-2008 was s--- aside from Weezy and Kanye being saving graces.
Sep 20, 2016 Even though most my top ten pre 2010 there's just a bigger amount of diverse good music and so many dope sub genres been popping
