Oct 1, 2016 Seriously think about it. Rapping is ALL he does. He lives and breathes rap. He kept it simple in Recovery but in MMLP2 he really raised the bar so f---ing high. Just think about it. Our average brains can barely comprehend what's he saying. I've been listening to that s--- for 3 years and only recently I've been able to like FULLY COMPREHEND songs like Rap God, Evil Twin, Groundhog Day... Trust me on this one. We can't f---ing see him. People stupidly think he couldn't do TES flows again. That's too simple for him. The fact that everyone hates him makes him even greater. We're looking at a true artist here. He's f---ing real. "I suffocate for the respect 'fore I breathe to collect the f---ing check"
Oct 1, 2016 Get off his d-ck holy s--- he's a good rapper and has made good music yeah no s--- but he's not ahead of his time especially in 2016. Get that sand out yo p---- op
Oct 1, 2016 I agree. While some of the punchlines may be corny, most of them are clever, rhyme like crazy, and the wordplay in MMLP2 with double, triple, quadruple meanings is brilliant, while at the same time he's true to the rhyme scheme. We miss out a lot, like when he explained on rapgenius the "Under attack (a tack) again as if I'm 'posed to (poster)" and stuff like that. I agree he could flow like TES if he wanted to, he's trying different things. I do wish he goes back to simple stuff because they hold more meaning and are easier on the ears though. But his worldplay is out of this world on MMLP2 and Shady XV. "If she got rabies I wouldn't give the b---- a shot, I'd poke her in the rear, but I bet if I lick her (liquor) she'd try to chase me"
Oct 1, 2016 I actually agree he could "sound like he did on TES if he wanted to." Well, he should do that...My biggest problem with Eminem post hiatus is his delivery. I understand he's constantly experimenting, but he needs to go back to something that works/is sonically appealing. He should slow down the flow and ease up the technical s---. Essentially do The Warning delivery/flow for an entire album.
Oct 1, 2016 delivery has a lot to do with your voice tho and with his vocal cords problems people are saying he has its pretty bad
Oct 1, 2016 Have any of you ever tried writing something or doing something creative. It's much harder than it looks. User Packman said sarcastically he released only one song. Wonder why is that. It's because his standards are sky high. He had over 200 songs recorded for MMLP2 and nitpicked 10% of that for the album. Yet everyone is fantasizing about TES or MMLP1. It's like asking Mozart to re-do symphony #40. His flow that currently everyone hates is the most genius thing ever. He sounds like he's reciting prose yet it flows and sounds good.
