    if someone doesn't want to vote or doesn't see it as necessary then forcing them to go in there by law isn't going to improve anything
    you're just going to get even more uninformed and uninterested voters going in there to throw something down and get it out of the way

    Anyone who doesn't want to vote should by default be disqualified from voting. It's their own representation which they may or may not need. And thier lack of input is reason to at least not force any.

    Plus it would be a violation of their rights as they should have the right to indifference.

    Here in belgium we having a thing for that it's called voting white, has nothing to do with racism but is actually that you have to go vote but you have the right to vote for "nobody" in the voting cabinet thing

    I once worked with a girl who decided who to vote for based off a coin flip, so yeah I definitely don't agree that voting should be required. If you're not paying attention to anything going on, it's better to just not vote. Some people just feel like it's their right and they need to do it even if they don't have a clue though.
