Nov 8, 2016 OP clearly doesn't know how to make the difference between what he likes listening to and what is "better"
Nov 8, 2016 Tpab is so flawless that most artists, producers, and professionals agree that it's one of the greatest albums of all time...even if they don't enjoy iy Tpab has become undeniable...
Nov 8, 2016 Tpab is not something I'd listen to every day but from a pure quality angle, I'd pick it over any of my favorite albums. s--- is THAT good
Nov 8, 2016 Long Live Asap better than both [Edit] lemme rethink that... It's better than views though
Nov 8, 2016 tbh I have friends who know musical composition much more than me and all of them talk about how perfect this album is...the production, kendrick's intonation, the syncopation, the rhythms with his flows, This album is so
Nov 8, 2016 confirmed OP was lying http://www.metacritic.com/feature/critics-pick-top-10-best-albums-of-2015 consensus album of the year 2015: #1 To p---- A Butterfly why is op lying like that
Nov 8, 2016 This. Music is about feeling and we all gonna enjoy something different and it's ok. But at the end of the day, Tpab will be remembered as the better album because...it is better.
Nov 8, 2016 The fact that you said it won the grammy because its creative pretty much proves that you don't know what you're talking about. From an artistic standpoint, the album's strenght is the music: the composition, the production, kendrick's ability to incorporate variations forms of classic music in his rap (only pharoahe monch doing that, and now young thug). I know some old heads listen to jazz-poetry, but I'm not one of them. However, Kendrick really went back to the various stages of black music and the poem was part of it. This album features both the rhythmic spoken word & classic/traditional poetry that were both used outside of mainstream jazz music few decades ago. Despite not being used by white artists trying to popularize jazz in the mainstream, these aspects of jazz music still influenced early hip hop. This album can really be described as a "black" album, all of it, and it was done extraordiry well. tpab's acclaim doesn't come from its experimentation of sounds because the album is definitely not experimental, it comes from the successful attempt at incorporating all the best aspects/elements of the different stages of black music, without compromising anything. In that regard, you could say it's more of a safe than experimental album and that doesn't make it any less great considering the fact that very few artists can do that.
Nov 8, 2016 even tpab stans dont want to listen to that garbage tpab is the best album that nobody wants to ever listen to my n----- got a royce avi
