Nov 8, 2016 i dont see how overrated is "talking bad" hes completely right, biggies music is blown way the f--- out of proportion by the whole pac drama and how he was sanctified after his death fact is his music was regular brooklyn rap from that time, with little to no difference from rappers like Jeru The Damaja, Buckshot & Masta Ace. the only difference is he was backed by a marketing genius. yet, entry level f--s who just discovered that rap also existed in the 90's along with oldfags think 2pac and biggie were the greatest to ever do it. in the end what even is biggies legacy? what impact did he leave? biggie as a rapper is the pure definition of overrated.
Nov 8, 2016 his statement isnt even egdy at all ppl say this on forums and twitter all the time even in 90's rap no1 actually puts biggie on level w nas only difference here is who's saying it, and everyone hates yachty's statements bc they cant accept the change he's bringing
Nov 8, 2016 Biggie was ahead of his time, the most bitten rapper of all time, he just didnt have hits but he had timeless music. He had such an impact with just 2 classics...
Nov 8, 2016 Nothing about him is overrated. BIGGIE >>>>>>>>>>> your favorite rapper, dead, alive or unborn. when biggie rapped about other s--- besides partying etc. that s--- could have been used as a screen play. dude painted pictures with his lyrics. go back & listen to "i got a story to tell" , "my downfall" , "you're nobody" , "everyday struggle" , just to name a few.
Nov 8, 2016 i love how you didnt comment on any of the rappers i mentioned. thank you for proving how biggie stans are entry level plebs
Nov 8, 2016 Makes me legit mad that people say Biggie was similar to Brooklyn rap from that time. If you listen to Ready to Die and Life after Death you can easily tell his flow was miles ahead of anyone in the rap game at that time. His production was top notch and still holds up today amazingly. Every track on both albums is unique and full of individual quality and care put into it. BIGGIE >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> your favorite rapper lmao
Nov 8, 2016 one of the most prolific rappers that was doing the brooklyn style The Sun Rises In The East > any big album
Nov 8, 2016 Lol this n----- think The Sun Rises in the East comes even close to Ready to Die. Keep spouting those buzzwords you dumb f---ing hippie lmao
