    MKL is GOAT too but Still Brazy edges it out for me.

    Those are all worthy of AOTY, I guess in my head I was thinking of rap specifically but I think it's still in the discussion.

    This is one of my favorites of the year, absolutely brilliant album.

    Where you at bruh ? i didn't know he was very well known outside of aus.

    DD Dumbo is not album of year quality imo... but gave it a listen last night and def enjoyed it. not top tier personally. creative stuff tho

    im in boston but heard him on "All Music Considered" podcast on NPR fwiw lol

    Yeah i didnt say it was album of the year quality wise, its just one of my favorites. He's got a bit of sting about his voice and like you said its very creative music and its a bit quirky in some parts musically but it works, he plays all the instruments himself too. im going to see him live at a festival with Kurt Vile and a heap of other acts so it will interesting to see how he performs live.

    So #1 is an album I didn't even put on Rolling Stone's 50 best albums of 2016.

    still brazy is definitely top 25 but it's gotten worse every listen. it kinda reminds of run the jewels in the sense that it feels like aoty for about a month until you realize it has no replay value.
