    Watch Kendrick announce UU 2 and release it by the end of the year then the collab project in feb. I mean it's probably not going to happen like that but it would be dope.

    kk so everybody gotta die isn't bad, but it's also not compelling in any way. didn't really say anything, and there's no a1 hook or beat that makes me wanna come back to it.

    false prophets is dope for the fact that cole wrote it perfect and i like the production too.

    still no progress as an artist from cole though, hopefully eyez is a step above these two songs. more FHD type cadences and hooks please

    i respect them for this as well, especially kendrick, but can i ask you something?

    does it really matter? would you rather have a 8/10 song by one writer, or a 10/10 song by 3 writers?

    ice cube said it best, nothing matters more than the final product.

    if your goal is to make hot music for people to enjoy and you make 10/10 songs, that's dope and I'm gonna respect it that you were able to compose a great track, but i'm not going to respect it from a 'you write your own bars' perspective'.

    feels just a little less authentic.
    and I understand there is more that goes into music than just lyrics, there's beats, other people, engineers and s--- but if we're comparing ' rappers' than the main thing has to be respected is 'rapping' ...
    if we're comparing 'artists' then that's different.

    this is a fair opinion, i agree with all of it.

    the only thing i don't respect is what diddy does where he has other people make a full song for him, and then he just raps over it (stealing their flow and all LOL).
