Dec 7, 2016 I love Savage Mode but this is hilarious to say. Herbo has Fazoland and Kodak has Lil BIG Pac and Heart of the Projects, Savage Mode isn't comparing to those projects.
Dec 7, 2016 Herb's latest tape is better than Savage Mode then. Don't get me wrong, I love Savage Mode, but Herb was a whole different beast on Strictly 4 My Fans. I haven't heard a rapper sound as hungry as he did on there in a long time now.
Dec 7, 2016 Been f---ing with Herb from the jump And I agree to an extent. I just love savage mode is a whole more than I do strictly for my fans. I love that tape too don't get me wrong, I just love the experience Savage mode brings and just the texture of it. If you get me. I think humble beast is going to be a classic.
Dec 7, 2016 Yeah I got you, both are great projects for different reasons. Welcome to the forum though bro, stick around for sure.
Dec 7, 2016 d--- so you been around for a while. I joined SL back in 2011 but glad you started posting now.
Dec 7, 2016 Wouldn't have known about thugger or future last year if it wasn't for you guys. Now I stan them. Got bored so figured I'd post here and there.
Dec 7, 2016 21 & Yachty the only ones I see lasting because of their image. Even then I can't imagine 21 Savage dropping studio albums every two years EDIT: Actually I take that back. I'm not a fan of .Paak at all, Malibu was a deadass 1/10 for me but he's not gonna go anywhere soon. More staying power than 21
Dec 7, 2016 Man how you gonna say that Paak is not interesting yet listen to someone like 21 Savage? A rapper who literally just talks over a beat in the most monotone drone I've ever heard. Now I know throughout it's creation there have been people who would say rap isn't creative and it's just talking over a beat. Obviously the people who would say that back then (and I guess still this day) were rock and metal fans. So what would they really know about rap? But the thing is, in the case of 21 Savage, that n----- is really just talking over a beat. He sounds so bored (and boring) that I hardly even notice that he is rhyming some words. Which if we had to get down to it and be real here, are Dr. Seuss level rhymes.
