h--- no is MMLP2 a classic. It's nowhere near a classic. Ironically it has some of my favorite Eminem tracks of all time. But no, this album is nowhere close to a classic.

never liked it as much as everyone else... don't even hate it either. but the flow there is very similar to if not the same as the flow everyone's been complaining about.

Short answer is no it isn't. I personally really really like it and enjoy almost all the songs on it but in no way is it a classic album. It has survival and stronger than I was on it lol

MMLP2 had the potential, but he was pandering to the new Recovery fans by including s--- like Survival and The Monster.

    1. Bad guy
    2. Parking lot (skit)
    3. Rhyme or reason
    4. Groundhog Day
    5. So much better
    6. Legacy
    7. a------ (feat. Skylar Grey)
    8. Berzerk
    9. Rap God
    10. Brainless
    11. Baby
    12. Wicked ways
    13. So far
    14. Don't front (feat. Buckshot)
    15. Headlights (feat. Nate Ruess)
    16. Evil twin

    1st single: Bad Guy
    2nd single: Berzerk
    3rd single: Rap God
4th single (after album release): Headlights

There's a near-classic. Wouldn't sell as well though. Its how I've ordered the album on Spotify, flows much better as well.

EDIT: Might swap a------ out for maybe Love Game or Desperation due to its whack beat and hook, just think the lyrical content fits the album and the verses are dope.

    Nawh. Not for me.

To me classics have a feeling of 'oneness', where I listen start to finish - and there can even be average or bad tracks - but I get an overall impression of a vision, a vibe.

MMLP2... Em kind of ran some themes and similar styles throughout, but in terms of the music and vibe - it's all over the place. It's by far his most random as f--- album. To have s--- like So Much Better (classic Em big piano, TES-meets-Encore sounding s---) next to SSLP-like funky Rhyme or Reason... Next to totally out of place Stronger Than I Was, next to clubby pop hit The Monster...

There is no vision in the sound. It's almost as if Em gave up or didn't care about 'let me create this feel' so instead just made as many tracks in as many styles as possible and picked the best ones. Which gives the end result of a mixtape for me. Great individual tracks, but not a great album.

(Though I think it may be because of the different producers, which results in a different feel. As TES feels consistent as f---, and when you look at that... there's many different styles of music backdrops. I think they work because Em produced nearly all of it, so you still feel this certain touch and vibe in every beat)

I'd give many of the tracks themselves 8-9/10... Rap God and Rhyme or Reason are two of my favourite Em songs ever. But I'd probably have to give the album itself a 7, due to its lack of feel. Em did the same to Welcome to Our House when he oversaw that too though; too many cooks in the kitchen, no decided vibe and then try make everything fit at the end through sequencing.

Hopefully he's abandoned that now, because it's a s--- method.

But, just as a PS. again - individual aspects = really good. Great songs, fantastic flows and lyricism... some great individual song productions. But just all over the place B.o.B Style.

No MMLP2 is not a classic. TES was the best album Em ever released.
