A fans down movement isnt going to acomplish anything other than delay the next album another 3 years, His verse on no favors was way better than throw it up, a couple flaws but its not the worst verse ever tbh... Shows you how passonate Eminem fan are though. When Hov and Nas have a s-----y verse on a feature you dont see their fans with a campaign lol

It's not the worst verse ever, no. I actually liked the content and I liked the energy behind it. Like the technicality of it too.

What I didn't like is the fact that this was clearly a cutaway from the Campaign Speech and it was very obvious that it was an acapella that he sent over to have the producers just throw it on some random beat. And that is lazy. And what I hope he'll do, is what he always used to do, and that's be involved in the entire process of making a song that he's on.

This verse sounded like he recorded it while sitting in his bathtub, then emailed it to Sean and said, "here ya go, do something with it." And that goes against what every producer/artists that works with Eminem says about him (i.e. "Eminem is a perfectionist.")

My biggest fear of his next album is that he's just going to collect random acapellas and send them to producers to build a beat around, and slap it on a album. And that obviously has to work for posthumous albums like Tupac/Biggie, but Eminem has no excuse to be doing that.

it being a clearly cut from the campaign speech acapella is not necessacrily true becuase that could just be the way he spits now (hopefully not but unless we hear from the engineers themselves, we'll never know...

I'm not giving up on him.

I believe his music, not songs he's featured in, songs he creates as a whole, will be good. You can take his verse and add it the end of "campaign speech", same type of style. I don't think he went out and recorded a verse specifically for Big Sean, but rather had it there from left overs.

Not worried, just can't wait for his first single. Then people can judge.

No, you're right, it just sounded like Campaign Speech pt.2. I guess the reason I mention it is because, for what it was, Campaign Speech was good. "Hey guys, look what I can do, and I'm still here playing with words." And that's awesome!

What's not awesome is actually using that format (acapella plus just rhyming words just to do it) and throwing that on a song you clearly weren't involved with in the making of it, because you're way off topic, to the point, your verse has no topic.

Based off the flow, I genuinely don't even think he heard the beat beforehand, and that's why I say it's lazy. He could have redeemed himself, and maybe even fooled us, by rerecording the exact same verse, but flowing to it over the beat in his headphones, then sending it over. That would have been respectable, and less obvious.

Like I said tho, I liked the verse. Not his worst. What was worse to me was the lack of love he displayed for his art. And if he did it that way because he's genuinely too busy with his own album, then that's awesome. Time will tell. But until then, I'm just kind of concerned.

Yea, He hasn't "fallen off" to me - the first 4 sentences from that verse alone is better than anything 21 Savage or Lil Uzi Vert etc has ever created in their lives.

However, Eminem is touted as being the best, both lyrically and as a musical craftsman, and I don't want to see that decline. I can forgive content, but I cannot forgive laziness. Even Wee Wee had some love put into it (layered vocals, a topic, inflection, punch-ins, etc - he made effort all around the track, just not the actual content.

What he did with that No Favors verse is the equivalent of you calling the best plumber in the world to come fix your kitchen sink - and he mails you a beautiful piece of copper pipe, with a note that says "install this wherever the f--- you want." And I don't like that. Lol.

But I will wait to see how he does with his album/first single.

You're right, and I could understand his laziness if he's really working that hard on his album. If not there's no excuse. But a Fansdown movement will bring us nothing but a delay of the album eventually.
