Help me lose 50lbs

    So I got a lot of energy and I don't know what to do irl and I'm overweight (I weigh 229lbs) but I don't have a plan to get rid of the fat. I'm exercising but I want to be a gym nut to get the muscle.

    @Soldier @Coco I know you're both fit as f---. Advice.

    I know there's already a thread but I want that muscular body and I need help with that.

    didn't read. drink water and run/walk. dont drink soft drink or any that s---, avoid sugar.

    The best way to get rid of fat is a good diet. You don't have to exercise at all to drop weight, do research, find out what you can and cannot eat. Plan your meals out. Drink a s--- load of water.

    can't co-sign this enough.

    you can go the gym every day for 3 months, and you'll feel stronger but your weight will probably around the same. watch your diet for 4 weeks and you'll look like a different person.

    came up off surgery, couldn't work out so i just started eating right because i didn't want to gain mad weight while i recovered like most of us do. 3 weeks in i looked like a different person real talk.

    start by controlling your diet, and be hard on yourself man. don't be a p----.

    I'm no health freak but honestly 80% of it is diet. If you drink cut that out too. The difference is HUGE.

    Cut out unnescessary snacking. Do cardio and cut out all sugar.

    Basically what @Soldier said.

    I got lazy the last couple months, gained a few extra pounds. Decided to change up, drank water, ate right, planned meals. Within 2 weeks, I was good.

    I enjoy playing basketball and lifting. I don't really over do either at this point. I lift maybe 3 times a week, if that, and I have muscles.

    If you're just looking for minimal exercises, you can do really basic exercises though. Just walk more (an hour a day is good for you). Do some push-ups, do some planks.

    To be honest though, I'm about 215lbs, and I don't think it's fat. I mean, I guess if it's real fat, then sure, but I have a lot of muscle. I feel like if I weighed less than 200lbs, it'd look unhealthy. Maybe you should build some muscle mass.

    Use "MyFitnessPal" app, it's free. Cut out all the junk food obviously and like everyone said above, drink a shitload of water, Sauna, and change up your food intake..
