Apr 16, 2017 You think that Loyalty and God are perfect songs? I'm not trying to troll when I ask this because I honestly want to like the songs more - what is it that makes you enjoy them so much? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy both songs, but I can't help but feel like Kendrick is compromising his sound for 1) Rihanna, and 2) for mainstream accessibility which ends up sounding like a generic pop song with Kendrick rapping over it, like anyone could have had that production and rapped over it without the song being much different. What makes you see these songs as perfect?
Apr 16, 2017 For me I enjoy those songs so much because I can actually see them being played in clubs/bars when I go out. So I'm appreciative I can hear one of my favourite artists when I'm out and for God the hook is great to me
