    Marijuana is totally different from heroin, coke, crack, m---, and shrooms. And whatever other drug you can think of. Its way safer too. So i don't see your point.

    This way it won't entirely be legal but at the same time we won't be filling our prisons with drug addicts, wasting our tax payer money. Instead of being arrested, you might get a ticket.

    It is a good idea. Having addicts register with the government that they are addicted and then getting a permit to buy heroin that isn't cut with anything that's gonna k--- them is a lot safer than them buying s--- from the street that's cut with god knows what. Heroin addicts are gonna do heroin no matter what, so providing them with as safe of use as possible allows them to be alive long enough to make the decision to get clean. They have already rolled out legal heroin in other countries.

    my highly unpopular opinion is that the war on drugs is bs. We should start spending the money going towards arresting people and use it instead on their recovery process.

    It absolutely baffles me that anyone thinks the war on drugs ever worked and that people are in support of it continuing.

    I know right. Its racist as s--- too. sadly in the south they are extremely hard on drug offenses. I had to spend 3 days in county along with a year of probation and pay 718$ for a gram of weed that I had during a traffic stop. It was f---ing r-----ed

    Also, in regard to the whole trans discussion, the reason why we have people transition instead of trying to cure their gender dysphoria is because trying to cure them of it hasn't worked. Letting them transition generally cured their depression/suicidal tendencies/dysphoria and it doesn't affect anyone aside from them so I guess I just don't understand why anyone cares.
