I think it's a style thing. My fav thug has always been the ss1/ss2 thug. When I get an urge to listen to his music that's what I gravitate to.

I wouldn't say too soft. HNDRXX is my favorite album to come out this year and that's pretty soft lol. I like the project a lot, I just don't know how often I'll revisit some of these songs in the future. It's not the thug I tend to gravitate towards.

oh yes, my b, my post was kinda in response to all the comparisons lol; I don't like them either.

I'm not slandering Future, that's my mans. But honestly HNDRXX is missing the raw emotion that have made all his past emotional/singing songs powerful; to me it really feels like he was trying to recapture those kinds of moments but he is no longer in a place where he could readily access those emotions. The album is pretty great and has a lot of successful songs but it hasn't really held up over time because it is pretty one note for the most part. I think stuff like Monster is way more effective at portraying love and heartbreak. Throw Away is genuinely one of the most potent songs ever recorded.
