Jun 27, 2017 thats just a small part of the big picture, the droplet that overflowed the bucket or something idfk basically the rap music industry treats producers and beatmakers like s--- when they're essentially the most important part of a track, at least speaking on contemporary hip hop. they're forced to do mixtape placements and make nothing, sales dont make s--- anymore and unless they start djing like TM88 they cant do shows. theres no one to advocate their interests so the balance is off.

Jun 27, 2017 everyone treats everyone like s--- if they can get away with it though just do your business correctly and its not an issue the only reason this would be an issue is if you are replaceable. theres thousands of producers that can musically replicate what metro, london, sonny, tm88, southside etc do but they dont have the networking or branding to be those guys im sure we have some in our creative sxn.

Jun 27, 2017 they can make replicas but they cant be them. no1 got their drums, presets, and techniques. especially the drums, theres a reason why they refuse to send separated tracks to engineers unless they know the team they're working with. and no the drum kits they sell arent even close to the ones they use.
