I hope Chelsea wins it because obviously I'm a Chelsea supporter however , I don't think they got what it takes to win it yet again especially because it will take some time for Morata to adapt to Premier League but I think he will thrive in Chelsea.In these preseason games Conte played him completely out of position on the wing ,I don't know why, maybe that's what he wants from Morata to do from time to time, to operate on the wing and make chances for others upfront not to only play as a striker. This season I see a club that has invested a lot to win it, a club that has a lot of hunger to win it. That's both of Manchester clubs. Tottenham didn't bring anyone so it's doubtful they will get to the first place tbh.

Man Utd have lost Ibrahimovic & signed Lukuku.
Matic is past it & Lindelof is coming from Benfica so unknown how good or bad he is. They have not strengthened greatly. Chelsea have lost Costa,Hazard injured & have Europe this year. Conte done some job last year as their squad is not as good as City's.
Spurs have no home advantage this season playing in wembley where they struggled last season in Europe.
Liverpool need a stronger squad but our attcak is better than everyone else's bar City. Its why Van Dijk is such a vital signing.

Matić is 29 but that's not really old, if you are not a glass player and a true athlete you could play up to 35. It also depends on the playing position too. If you ask me, Manchester overpaid him but hey, they overpaid so many players.

First off all, we won't be relying on counterattacking football like Enrique did. We are returning to total Football. Secondly, Messi is still very fast, just not at prime speeds.


Seriously, we don't need to rely on an exotic front three anymore. Our wingback positions look world class already, Sergi Roberto is back in midfield, Samper is back and Alena is already better than Andre Gomes.

Iniesta(getting old) nor gomes will be a starter this season. That's much more important than keeping neymar in the squad tbh.

last season was one of the worst seasons I have ever seen for Barca. That season must NEVER happen again. It was merely disgusting watching Barca depending on Leo that much. It's a disgrace what the board has done to Leo and a club as a whole.They have the greatest ever and they are bottling seasons like that. Leo deserves to have 5+ champions leagues.

btw I don't know what to say about that idea of having sergi roberto in the midfield. I want a proven player, like veratti. I like sergi roberto but he would be a much better player as a sub throughout the season.

Alba was very poor last season. Digne is poor as well. Semedo is a very good prospect but certaintly not world class yet. Samper struggled at Granada & Alena is unproven.
Barcelona in general have been a shambles in the market. Some horrible signing like Gomez,Alcacer,Douglas(lol) & Madrid have picked up all the best young Spanish talents like Asensio,Theo Hernandez,Vallejo,Cellabos & Llorente.

The club doesn't really need him. We have way too much attacking midfield talent already suited to our style. What we need is a controller to fully implement our total football.

Sergi Roberto is a must. He's the most mobile and diverse player in the squad and he's one of the best at off the ball pressing and retrieval.

Sergi Roberto is a very good player certaintly better than Rakitic.
Barca need Verratti but will he want to join now that Neymar has left. Liverpool won't sell Coutinho this summer.
I would have doubts about Valverde too I think Sampaoli would have been a better choice.

The lack of pace in the Barca squad will see them get destroyed on the counter against the top sides.

Not Alba's fault. Side was disorganized.

It's not that Gomes or Alcacer were "bad" . They just

1. Weren't what we needed
2. Were horribly mismanaged.

Munir was hitting form and we loaned him out. Munir then played for a defunct Valencia Yet still scored 2 goals against us in different games. Paco came, but choked under the pressure . He did get a few goals, but Munir outscored him in La Liga.

Gomes was brought in Jetlagged from the Euro's and asked to play a role he was never meant to play under mind breaking pressure in big games.

All we had to do was Keep Munir and play denis or Rafinha as LM.

Better yet, Buy a proper RB and play roberto (you know, where he spent his career prior playing) and we'd be fine. Enrique and the board f----- up

Sergi Roberto doesn't have the experience and knowledge of Ivan Rakitić. Ivan has experience in destroying clubs like real madrid ,performs in big matches, scores goals (unlike Luka Modrić) etc. He didn't really perform last season (until march) but if barca accompanies a fast player alongside him he will be good again.

If I was Barca I would do this with the Neymar money.

I would not waste most of the money 160m on Mbappe which is what I think may happen as they may want to stop Real buying him.

Verratti - 100m
Dembele - 80-90m
Alex Sandro - 60m.
