Aug 19, 2017 Stan had a purpose and was a one time thing. It wasn't made to appel to a certain fan base or to sell records. Like someone else mentionned, with the success of Love The Way You Lie, i think he sticks with the formula of a catchy female pop singer on the hook because it will sell.

Aug 19, 2017 Totally agree. No doubt he'll have some new style or content or amazing rap, on whatever the song is, and I'll love aspects of it. But it's going to be ruined by a corny, unecessary hook. It's his new lazy way to ensure a hit. It robs his songs of his unique feel. Cookie-cutter bs.
