Conor have a great chance. One shot landed... and will be a different fight than what Floyd expects.
Will Conor make it through the greatest (arguably) defense in boxing history? I'm rooting for him to land it.

That’s the situation in most fights — but it’s a HUGE what if

Conor has knockout power (maybe more so than what Floyd has faced before) but will he get near Mayweather? Probably not...the same as the other 49

Just so people don't forget about the legit undercard:

Jack-Cleverly should be entertaining enough. Expect Jack to win as Cleverly is just another UK paper champ. Decision imo.
Gerovanta Davis is the guy under Floyd's wing with the most promise. World champ at 22. Should be a showcase fight for him. Expect a KO.

PPV gonna be 3 hours I assume? Saw there's only 4 fights but I don't know if that's normal or not for boxing, of course they have prelims too but I'm just talking about the main card.

Also the ringside doctors are saying they're worried about Conor's health, and the article made reference to a former MMA fighter that took a boxing match and ended up dying a couple days later after a knockout.

While the world will be watching and hoping that Mayweather-McGregor entertains, a group of ringside doctors do not see this fight in the same light. As a matter of fact, the Association of Ringside Physicians say that this fight puts McGregor’s health in danger.

“We were very surprised this bout was even sanctioned and was going to be permitted to carry on,” Larry Lovelace, president of the organization, told the The New York Times. “The thing I really fear, truly fear, is that somebody’s going to get really hurt in this upcoming fight.”

That “somebody” they speak of is McGregor, who may have a wealth of mixed martial arts experience but has yet to compete with a professional boxer in a sanctioned fight.

And this concern is not coming without precedent. In June, 34-year-old former MMA fighter Tim Hague suffered fatal injuries against Adam Braidwood in a boxing match that took place in Edmonton, Alberta. It was his fourth boxing match, but Hague was severely outclassed by Braidwood, who ended the fight with a one-punch knockout in the second round. Hague was hospitalized after the fight and died two days later in an Edmonton hospital.

Conor hasn't taken 10% of the amount of damage Tim Hague had taken throughout his career. He's also fighting the best defensive boxer of our generation, if not all time, not known for KO's. I'm sure Conor may get beat up pretty bad if he doesn't get lucky and finish Mayweather early, but I don't think he's going to accumulate enough damage to really run the risk of death.

Crazier things have happened, but for them to compare it to the Tim Hague situation seems a bit much.

    Anyone watching the weigh ins?

Floyd 5lbs under lmao & I really don’t like the look of Conor at this weight, he looks unhealthy at the weigh ins

McGregor is gonna come in about 20lbs heavier on the night though..

Where you guys watching the fight? I reserved my spot at buffalo wild wings earlier today. If you're thinking stream it's probably a little risky, most streams were taken down for Mayweather/Pacq and this one will be even bigger..they're gonna be watching that closely.

Anyone spending $100 to order it?

I would rather sit down with Kanye and listen to him tell me all of his problems over paying $100 to watch this. Either will do a house party or stream it. It's gonna be a short fight anyway

I'm excited for it, it's as much of a show as it is a boxing match, but still it'll be entertaining. Plus if Conor somehow wins it'll be one of the biggest upsets in sports history so it's worth it in that sense too.

Also curious to see if Conor can even land a good punch on him, some don't think he'll even do that.
