Sep 11, 2017 Compton, sadly, is largely forgettable. Not much replay value. Good album, but not essential like the chronics. I've never had the urge to sit down and listen to Compton in its entirety again. Both chronics top 10 hip hop albums I swear, undisputed classics
Sep 11, 2017 COMPTON IS GREAT tbh. regardless though.. troll thread. Either that or hommie is really feeling that 're-listen' vibe heavy.
Sep 11, 2017 Control was the most overrated verse I have ever heard... Actually one of the average verses of Kendrick
Sep 11, 2017 The GIF in OP was obvious a troll. I do like compton more than eminem albums but to each his own. I just like it more overal even tho eminems albums have songs I would easily pick over compton songs
Sep 11, 2017 That's fair enough man. Each to their own like you said. You just can't beat Dres' craft on the boards TBH, I can see why people may more gravitate towards that overall sound im comparison. As a project, Dres' s--- always sounds as slick a decade later as the day it was mastered.
Sep 11, 2017 Let's be honest here, album was carried by Kendrick's excellent (but short) verses, Dre nostalgia, couple decent Anderson Paak bridges and one of the nowadays rare good Eminem verses.
Sep 11, 2017 HAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHHA WORST DR DRE ALBUM
Sep 13, 2017 The Chronic is classic and made a new sound for Hip hop, with 2001 he again changed the sound of hip hop. with Compton it did nothing at all.
Sep 13, 2017 One of the only rap albums I'd ever consider listening to again. 10 classic tracks in a row, including Intro.
Sep 14, 2017 Well yeah eminem saying s--- like that to sound cool is lame but better than artists who actually do stuff like that (r kelly, xtencion, kodak (?) )
