Sep 14, 2017 I don't live under a rock lol my point was that it took about 4 years for him to drop another album too. Tbh I like that eminem doesn't drop an album every year or two
Sep 14, 2017 Exactly ppl act like he's in his early 30s only rappers that drop frequently are the ones trying to remain relevant. Em and Jay can drop every four years and be relevant that year
Sep 14, 2017 Yeah, artists that drop a new project ever year ruin the fun. The quality must go down eventually and then they're just feeding you mediocre music on a yearly basis. Hate keeping up with s--- like that.
Sep 14, 2017 this guy conway also dropped a single for his next album. So we have Yelawolf in October, Conway in October/November? maybe. I remember Paul's tweet about the most anticipating albums and I think Royce was there too? but Royce hasn't drop a single hint about his next solo album so far. Eminem was the last 1 Paul mentioned on that tweet, so if he drops something it'll be in December imo.
Sep 14, 2017 I partly believe that Paul tweeted that because he was happy that Eminem's album was anticipated in general. But I hope I'm wrong.
Sep 14, 2017 I stand by what I said. Even Eminem has once said that he was lazy (find it yourself) 34 year old Eminem fan.
Sep 14, 2017 Got this photo signed by 2 Chainz last month and it's going to Em to get signed. My connect is gonna get me some inside info on the new album. I'll keep everyone posted. .
Sep 15, 2017 He obviously means that it was four years between these Jay-Z albums, just like it might be four years between mmlp2 and the new album. Some call Em lazy for it but they dont call Jay lazy for doing the same thing
Sep 15, 2017 Those two jay albums may have taken 4 years but he spent a very short time recording/working on them. Em's best work was also recorded in a short period of time. Sometimes spending a long time on an album is counterproductive. What sound ks popping in Music changes rapidly.
Sep 16, 2017 Jay Z is not a mega star tho. No one gives a f--- about him anymore. Magna Carta is 2x platinum certified in US, among which 1 million from Samsung. Nowadays Kendrick outsells him
Sep 16, 2017 I'm not talking about FAME (he's famous cause of beyonce tbh), i'm talking about relevance. That dude before called him MEGA STAR, referring the fact he can drop an album whenever he wants, but it's wrong, cause he doesn't drop anything due of his low relevance.
Sep 16, 2017 Jay Z is 100% a mega star and being a mega star lies completely on his recognizability not his relevance. and believe me no one puts in mind whether they're relevant or not before they drop an album.
Sep 16, 2017 Em doesn't write music - or more specifically albums - based on "what sound is popping in music" at the time; he is a legacy artist, he cares about how it'll sound in 10 years. Jay had a public storyline going on with his wife - he had easy-access content and something specific and pressing to address. When that's the case you don't need much time. But if Em is trying to figure that out, a concept or how he wants to approach this record, well tbh it's probably better he take more time making it than just rapping about whatever is in his head in any given random 2 month period, at this point.
Sep 16, 2017 Ok if you think jay-z isn't a mega star, besides eminem what other rappers would you call a mega star because eminem can't be the only mega star in rap
Sep 16, 2017 I agree ppl for get that em and jay are like the only 2 rappers from the 90s that can still drop an album, and a bunch of ppl will still support.
