Oct 17, 2017 I mean it's gotta feel a little bad for Dre no? or at least the key people there. Aftermath has enough trouble keeping artists and now they're gonna lose one of their biggest and longest running acts. unless Em stays attached to Aftermath and it's just the actual Shady artists that are under Def Jam (since Em is technicall not a Shady Records artist)
Oct 17, 2017 Universal Music Group owns Shady, Interscope, Aftermath, and Def Jam. It's still all under the same Umbrella, Just a different building
Oct 18, 2017 No it doesn't he probably owes interscope one more album then move If anything it's more a sign album coming before January
Oct 18, 2017 True, because the album will be under Paul right or whoever managing/ promoting it I guess, so yeah for sure album will drop this year then if thats the case.
Oct 18, 2017 Actually, since 50 Cent doesn't sell like he used to and long gone from the label, they (Aftermath or Interscope headquarters & Dre) have nothing the worry about. Aftermath & Interscope will still have Eminem anyway. Shady records is a monkey on their backs with all those wack selling artists. Of course if Em's deal finished with Aftermath and Interscope, he might as well start to release his albums under Shady/ Def Jam.
