    Every Em album ive been excited while first listening.... except Encore when he started the "head popped off, head popped off head popped off"...pretty much Em and Kendrick to get stoked for a solid album to playthru

    This is only the start of promo. The ad/website was good to get people hyped to the point that they know something is coming, but it’s hard to get totally hyped without official confirmation and the label know that.

    One tweet & announcing the album title with a 15 second teaser of a single would generate more hype in a few hours than this whole fake drug thing put together.

    The timing all seems a bit off though. All the hype from the freestyle died down, then we found out about the website...now that hype is dying down. Not that he needs hype to sell of course, it just makes more sense that way. We really need something official.

    I don't think it matters one bit that the hype died down from the cypher. He's clearly shown he can get people talking and not just "cac stans" he had the number 1 video on YouTube for how many days in a row? And reach millions of views in less than 2 days. It doesn't matter people are interested and he put himself out there again.

    Nah, that would look like he was using his cypher for publicity and promotion rather than get across his strong message. Would have taken away from the point he was making a bit.
