Actually it's because people are stupid. What should he call an album with songs like Bad Guy and s--- like dat. The songs were full of MMLP references and s---. Think of Blueprint by Jay Z. First one was classic but others were a lot more lower than the actual Blueprint but yet it's never really that critisized and non of the other blueprints had anything common with the original one at all. I mean he might as well called it other things. I think it's stupid for people to expect the same quality with MMLP in MMLP 2. It's just not possible. It's not the same album or a different version of same album. It's the sequel to it. And u can do anything with a sequel. Idk if I can show my point but while judging the album, letting the name of it effecting your judgement is very stupid in my opinion.

Eminem definitely goes to internet. How would he know all this unless he actually reads some comments from people on forums like us. Nobody really critisize Eminem on the real world to his face. All this s--- is going down in the internet. And he even has been changing his styles according to the critisizm, it's arguable b ut probably true.

I think most of the ones that succeed on relapse are ones that don't have absolutely deplorable content. It's no secret that he tapped some downright amazing beats from dre, but as a 27 year old I can't make it through songs like stay wide awake or insane. I don't think the content on Hello is terrible. Hello, My Mom, Must Be the Ganga and Deja Vu I would say are its four strongest tracks. And this is coming from someone who, as an 18-year-old, loved most of Relapse. It's a terrible album, but I admittedly also still have kind of a weird soft spot for it because it came out when I was a senior in high school and had jaw surgery hat left me out of school and on painkillers for weeks, so I'm sure I "appreciated" that aspect of the content, lol.

I'd say content can ruin a song even if it sounds amazing. A prime example elsewhere is "She Wish She Was" off of Still Brazy. That beat is amazing but the content is so bad that it ruins it for me.

Right it’s like em forgot that he’s a mega star, it’s not like he went from eminem to bow wow status. Bow wow was huge back in the day, and now no one gives two s----s about him.

He should of never named it MMLP2, anybody with a brain would know his record label forced him to do that.

MMLP2 was GREAT, definitely better than Recovery or Relapse: Bad Guy, Brainless, Groundhog day, Rap god, Evil twin and this MASTERPIECE :bigquint:

Revival is a generic album name. Can't believe he chose that name. But MMLP2 was even worse.
