Nov 16, 2017 Suprise releases are still announced. A lot later than others, but they're announced at least two or three days prior to the release. I say he's dropping a single tomorrow and announcing the album on SNL on Saturday and dropping it next week. It'll still be a surprise release.

Nov 16, 2017 He doesn't need to promote the album. Cole hasn't promoted his past 2 albums and they have both sold well. And Kendrick is hotter than Em. He isn't bigger. Em will push 500k first week easily. Think he told us we had until april 7th to get sht together and he released humble/heart 4 at least a week before april 7th.
Nov 16, 2017 Dawg, he dropped the "Heart Pt. 4" in which he announced "y'all got till April 7th to get your s--- together". Everyone thought it was the album release date. (Same here with Eminem and the 17th.). But on the 7th, he dropped "HUMBLE." and proceeded to drop the album on the 14th. That's a surprise release.
Nov 16, 2017 Yeah my bad, I meant bigger. And I get the feeling Eminem won't do much if he just announces it now and drops it tomorrow. s--- needs a bit more promo. Both Cole and Kendrick (biggest rappers of this generation) had at least a weeks promo. Album art and tracklists revealed and so on
Nov 16, 2017 UPDATE. So he might not be dropping an album tomorrow, but he might be dropping that song with 2 Chainz. It's speculated that they might perform that song on Saturday on SNL and announce the album then. The song seems to be about how Eminem and 2 Chainz are twins separated at birth and so on. Seems far fetched but yeah, speculation.
