    But what you're failing to realize is I never shed light on or "made lame jokes" about Lil Peeps death, nor have I or would I do that to anyone. It's not the same.

    I'm not trying to make the thread about someone else, I just wanted to vent in one post about disrespect people showed for an artist I enjoyed and the stark contrast to this one.

    I don't know about anyone else, but Lil Peep's music has done a lot for me. I wouldn't say I am depressed, but I do get sad often. And when I get sad, I always turn to music. His was there, and helped me feel much better. Call him emo and what not but he was just a loner who used music to express his feelings, and so many related to him because of that. So f---ing sad over this.

    Hopefully this ends or at least slows down the pill trend in rap. More should be put in to venting about mental illness in songs not glorifying xans molly percocets rolhypnols adderall and everything else. People need to be shown that you dont need these things to cope. This is so tragic. Rest in peace

    He has over a million followers on instagram do people not get that he wasn't some random soundcloud rapper with 100 followers? Not even a huge stan of him or anything but he was one of the biggest rappers out of the new wave.

    Not gonna lie, and I really don't mean this in a disrespectful way. But I was always wondering how the hip-hop community would react if a SoundCloud rapper were to die from an overdose. Guess I got my answer now.
