Nov 19, 2017 I still haven't heard it on any radio stations though. I remember Love The Way You Lie used to get all kinds of radio play. I played the song for my mom and she said it was the first Eminem song she likes. She said he's actually saying some good things. I do admit that the song is kind of slow and it's weird how there's no drums. But he does seem to mean what he says in the song. That's the thing, I was expecting him to rap about how he's a God. And he rapped about how he's NOT a God. He did the opposite and so it threw me off. So I still have a lot of mixed feelings about the song. I don't know what to think. But the song is sad because it means that at the very least he's never going back to his old ways. He's never gonna make any Slim Shady type songs ever again. It's all going to be very humbling songs only from now on.
Nov 19, 2017 Same here... Still not what I wanted, but it isn't what I thought it was on my first impression. And I really like the hook and bridge.
Nov 19, 2017 I’ve personally given this track a lot of hate but for some reason the times I’ve seen him perform it live, it seems to come together better but still has its flaws which are undeniable
Nov 19, 2017 I don't think I hated the song at all, from the beginning I pretty much didn't know how to feel about it, cause it was different, but as I continued to listen to it more & more it grew on me too & I think it's a great song for what it is, & like most people I was expecting him to talk about how he was still on top of the game too, I'm not let down by it one bit, probably because he is spitting real content, not just some random r-----ed song with no meaning behind it. I am expecting a really good album, especially after the last few lines, "b---- I wrote Stan", makes me think he will black out the rest of the f---ing album, but then again we thought this track was going to be him 'being a god' etc, so who knows, overall 10/10 for me, best single since Without Me.
Nov 19, 2017 I never disliked it. It took me a few plays to figure it out. I'm still on the fence about no drums. But honestly? It's different and the lyrcis are hard af. Raw emotion. He's always been different. He will never run a style into the ground (for better or worse). And this is an evolution of Em. I dont think ive ever played we made you after the initial excitement in thefirst week. Same may be true for this who knows. But as of late it looks like its growing on me and will be in my playlist. His lyricism never fell off in my opinion. He did struggle trying to make every little technical aspect on point but good. He'll get it down even better asap and continue killing the game. Better than the trash a--- artists oug nowadays. Much respect
Nov 19, 2017 Let's tell the truth. Someone paid you to post this r-----ed threads. I can't think anything else about u
Nov 19, 2017 Yeah I like it. Was in the girl friends car and she had the radio on and it was the first song I heard haha. Was like... Yeah still like it. Just want something on some humble s--- next.
Nov 19, 2017 Yes but it has grown on me a little bit. I showed my mom the song and she said it's his only good song that she's ever heard. So I had a change of heart. You gotta understand. I was expecting Rap God Part 2. When he calls the album Revival and the song is called Walk on Water, I got really excited to hear a song about how he's a God and can do unimaginable things. Instead we got the exact opposite. So I have mixed feelings.
