Dec 8, 2017 The subject matter Eminem addresses in Untouchable is very relevant to today’s divisiveness and it takes a lot to address that, especially if your not on the receiving end of it. I’ve watched a lot of reactions to this and the majority of black people respect this as he’s addressing problems that actually exist that they can relate to. The majority of people that will hate this track will be white people and at the end of the day who gives a s--- because rap music is black music from a black culture.
Dec 8, 2017 People who say the subject matter is corny is in denial that this is real life for some people. You don't have to agree, but denying the issues and writing them off lf as corny is well, corny. And here we are...discussing/debating these issues on an Eminem forum. He won. People who deny it are taking an L right now.
Dec 8, 2017 Except he’s talking about issues that don’t exist. You know why people get arrested by police? Because they commit crimes. Don’t commit a crime and you have nothing to worry about.
Dec 8, 2017 it took Eminem too long to speak about these issues. we already had rappers talk about everything he's rapping about on Untouchable. i give a him a E for Effort, he's turned off alot of people who were listening before.
Dec 8, 2017 Stop it, I don't like the song but people do get wrongfully accused of things and sent to prison for no reason
Dec 8, 2017 It's really ironic. That people like Em cuz he speaks his mind and isn't afraid to offend people. Then when they're offended they hate him.
Dec 8, 2017 He already told people he was drawing a line in the sand. How could he have been more clear with these morons?
Dec 8, 2017 Except that the laws are enforced differently in different parts of the country and it's dumb to give people 10+ years of jail for dealing marijuana which is practically harmless while some hedge-fund manager can steal a billion dollars and walk off free
Dec 8, 2017 I feel like the same people that hate this song would praise Kendrick if he did the same song.
Dec 8, 2017 The point I’m trying to make is that he is respecting black culture through the culture of black music which deserves respect
Dec 8, 2017 Joyner Lucas just did it but it sounded better, production sucks and Em's delivery is awful.
Dec 8, 2017 And that's precisely the point. Black people get it because they actually f---ing experience what's going on. I don't get the mentality of people who deny it lmao, because it's as if they're saying the collective black community is whining and complaining for no reason and playing the black card. And if THAT'S the road we're heading down, that's quite the slippery slope I don't think people are ready to venture on. Just because someone doesn't experience something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Believing that one person's experience is everyone else's experience is the most pigheaded way of thinking, it shows that people don't listen and don't care to view it from the other perspective. They just think they're right, and nothing goes on. And then they wonder why there's a sudden disconnect for them with Hip Hop. This is literally all common sense to a black person, but the fact that people are even losing their minds TELLS you that people don't listen. Like, we tried to tell y'all.
Dec 8, 2017 Even consider that you may have just outgrown Em's music? I agree that fans have had valid reason in recent years to criticize his flow, but Em's delivery on the last 4 minutes of 'Untouchable' is indistinguishable from his flows on albums like TES.
Dec 8, 2017 so far Kendrick has done a better job than Eminem, but we'll see where this goes from here on out.
Dec 8, 2017 His delivery isnt like TES at all. Its still choppy keeps speeding up and slowing down its the only thing that lets the song down and the production is meh. The second half is definitely better. It's not outgrowing his music because i can easily go back and listen to other tracks even from the more recent albums.
