    The only two ways I can see this album going is near-classic or scatterbrained and all over the place trying to go for too much and ultimately falling short because of it. I don’t think Revival has the potential to be a mixed bag like most post hiatus work. Either it’ll be collected and cohesive or unorganized chaos. Which is kinda scary.

    This quote he has about Revival from the Elton interview, “I got something for everybody...” makes me think of this album as more of a playlist. Similar to Drake’s “More Life.”
    I’m not going to b---- about hearing all different types of Em, but I would rather have a cohesive album. Just a thought!

    The word “classic” is thrown around way too freely on here. Revival is NOT going to be a classic, period. Just from what we’ve already heard so far, Revival is nowhere near that status. MMLP is an example of a classic, since a lot of you don’t seem to know what a classic is. You seriously gonna put Walk on Water and Untouchable up there with The Way I Am and Stan?
