Also when he says "as i kick these facts and get these mixed reactions" was his personal opinion, that's why he backspins the beat.

Also the backspinning of the beat illustrates the feeling of retrocess and rewinding humanity is facing right now, drifting back to a time where being black was seen as something awful and even more dangerous than it is nowadays.

MMLP2 had a weird effect on me. I thought it was surprisingly good the first few days. I'm sure I even ranked it 3rd equal to SSLP or 4th best EM album lol.

But after about a week or 2 of listening to it, i slowly began to get tired of and eventually started to dislike it. No replay value whatsoever. Haven't listened to it since probably a month or 2 after it came out and have no desire to.

Kind of strange how great I thought it was on the first few listens. Now I consider it to be one of his worst albums yet. Right down there besides Encore and Relapse.

I want Em to produce his own songs.. That’s when he was in a zone.. That way he can create the whole thing rather than juts being sent a with a female hook that he needs to fit his lyrics around.. But if I had to have others produce I’d like to see Boi-1da & Jim Jonsin on this album.. They’ve made good songs together

My exact reaction to Recovery to be honest, I thought it was on par with TES
Now I think it's his worse piece of work, I've grown to be a massive fan of Relapse and my thoughts on mmlp2 are mixed and it's way better then Recovery imo

I think what made his old s--- classic was the fact that he didn't give a f---, he randomly dissed people, said crazy s---, and all around made rap more aggressive while still maintaining great lyrical ability and not sounding corny.

But that's just my opinion
