What are the odds of us ever getting access to songs that didn't make the album cuts?
I'd imagine there are a number of tracks recorded alongside The Apple and G.O.A.T., King Mathers tracks.
Stimulate getting replaced by Say Goodbye Hollywood lends itself to suggesting that he had some other songs mixed, (but maybe not mastered) that didn't fit the theme of the album.

No Apology--"And if his skills mastered, he's able to spill raps long after he's killed, that's a real emcee."
And given that Eminem is a self-described studio rat, there's a good chance he's got more posthumous material than Tupac.

The chances of getting songs recorded before 2003 is lower (until there's a vault release), because they're on tape reels stored in a basement of Interscope, and mixing them requires facilities with analogue equipment to mix a lot of tracks. Analogue consoles lost popularity when the digital revolution of plug-ins made music recording convenient and affordable. When mixing Recovery, Mike Strange mentioned that the studio had to knock down walls to accommodate An 80 channel SSL that Dre prefers to work with.

Using analogue tape requires a lot more work. Eminem recalled having to use a scalpel to edit tape from vocals that didn't come out right, and that was the process for everything recorded from SSLP to Chronic 2001, TES to Get Rich or Die Tryin'. Editing with digital DAWs makes the process a lot easier.

Taken from SoundOnSound interview with Mike Strange (Eminem's engineer).
"This composite screen capture shows the Pro Tools Session for 'Not Afraid'. Eminem's vocals are near the top, colour‑coded blue and red (at the extreme left), above Luis Resto's instrumental parts (purple and green), with the components of Boi‑1da's original beat (orange) below those." There's gotta be a hundred tracks in that session.

Given that it would require more effort than just emailing an MP3, I don't see us hearing them for a long time.
    What do you guys think?

    PS:
Eminem sent Jay-Z two reels for The Blueprint (they didn't have time to record in same place). One was Renegade, the other was unknown.
Also-who was the producer talking about Keys to the City?

We won’t get any of them.. eminem was to strung out on drugs to remember even making them. And Paul wouldn’t allow something like that to be released.

Similarly to the rating of Em's upcoming album, about 3.5/10

There will be a ton of posthumous material. But nothing released until then.

Now that Paul will be out of the picture starting in 2018 on Def Jam & no longer managing Em, Maybe well get them & maybe well get one last album for all the Hip Hop heads, with Royce, Nas, 50, Dre etc without jew Paul dictating Em's work. Em even admitted it in the new Elton John interview that when him & Paul would disagree on his work that "Paul is usually right" in the end & Em will change it to appease Pauls vision

if i were to guess id say there's probably about 250 ish unreleased songs from 2007-2016
anything before that is probably sitting in a spindle of cds (protools sessions) collecting dust

would love to hear the relapse 1 and 2 cuts though and maybe some more recovery left overs if there are any but dont be mistaken when your on a label the own the music as a C and a P releasing anything without there consent gets legally challenging

It upsets me actually, because I feel like Em is quite disengaged as to what really is a great track (I could be completely wrong when Revival drops, which I hope I am); but based on deluxe tracks, leaks etc, there have been great songs which definitely should've made album cuts over others...

That’s what I don’t get is rappers that have a shot ton of music but don’t release any of it. They would make money off of music they sell. Not music that nobody hears. If eminem makes as much music as he says he does he could release a 10 track album every year for the next 20 years of unreleased music and fans would be happy as f--- and he’d be forever making cash.

This guy recorded 200-300+ songs for Relapse and Recovery combined.
    And for MMLP2 - 200.
Shady XV and Southpaw also had a few unreleased cuts.
And Revival must be having a plenty too since he stated that he had 50 songs for it.

We're in for alot of classic material after Em retires/dies.

Honestly, I'm expecting Interscope to milk the s--- out of it, posthumous. There will probably be more remixes and samples like there was with Tupac as well as more albums released after his death than when he was alive. However, I know some people out there have a few unreleased tracks such as Nut Up.

I've heard Nut Up wasn't that great, and nobody thinks it's even worth leaking out. If anybody decides to be nice one of these days, I'd love to have the track to add to my collection regardless if it's bad or not. One day...
