He should but he won't, look forward to 30+ years of trash-tier "awfully hot coffee pot" lyrics with pop singer features

this album is bad... I could listen to all of his albums.. from Encore to MMLP2 sure they weren't his first 3 but I defended the f--- out of them because I could still enjoy them.

This is just all over the place. I don't know what happened.

I don't want him to retire... I would like a REAL Revival of some sort before he bows out.

I mean could he work closer with Dre to help executive produce the d--- thing?

    Better beats?

make it a short album like 4:44?

this album felt like it was mixed horribly on a lot of parts too. I don't know wtf happened.

I say no because the typical retirement age of an American is 65 years old, but a lot work past that either because they can't afford it or they enjoy what they do. The only reason this thread exists is because he's treading into new waters that people haven't seen before... Hip hop has historically been a young man's game. However, say you enjoy doing something, and can see yourself doing it for the rest of your life... your greatest hobby... Would you stop? No. What if you became famous and a bunch of people were saying you should retire? Does that change your mind? Would you want to stop doing what you love just because some assholes disagree with you, or the history tells you can't? No.

The problem is that once someone becomes a celebrity, people think they have control over them. Eminem isn't someone who is going to give into that s--- because he remembers what it was like being on the bottom just like a bunch of us... The only people who give into that type of s--- are politicians because they don't know what it's like to say "f--- you, you ain't me, and you don't make decisions for me."

He'll have one more album that is marketed as his last. Wouldn't be surprised if he had a turnover as quick as he had with relapse to recovery.

this album should've never came out with that horrible f--- up promoting it. if this is his last album he might be finished. it's a bad way to go out but sounds like he doesn't have it in him anymore.

I think he should make one last album called Retirement, keeping with the 'Re' titles, but get the Bass Brothers to produce it.

Kind of like a farewell party, but have loads of good Hip Hop artists featuring.
I feel like Em has rapped for so long he has made himself sick and numb from it. It just feels like he is absolutely tormented inside. Fame is a monster.
Like when he said he loved chasing success, maybe he shoud venture into something completely new in life, and try to fuel a new passion.
Age is a cruel thing. In addition to fame it really steals away your soul. At 45, Em simply cannot connect with today's generation. Every song he makes now has a kind of detached/dissociative feel to it. There is no doubt that his writing and lyricism are still absolutely outstanding, but when it comes to delivery it's like he is merely going through the motions or it feels forced.

:lmaooo: Being a celebrity negates everything about the "average" age someone retires. Also, 65 is an outdated statistic. That has been changing and still is.

I really like Revival. 8/10. But it ain't gonna be healthy mentally for that guy to continue after the backlash it will get. It's great, but will definitely call a lot of backlash (alot of unnecessary backlash tho, people will overreact).
I want him to release one Proper hip hop album with hip hop beats, features and then retire in peace with a solid a--- catalogue.
