    Like Home is one of the most politically tone-deaf songs I've ever heard. How the f--- do you make a song dissing Trump and make it sound like you're struggling for reasons to criticize him?

    Here's where I'm at

    Songs I love:
    Believe
    Castle
    Arose
    In Your Head

    Songs I like:
    Tragic Endings
    River
    Like Home
    Framed
    Walk on Water

    Songs I find meh:
    Bad Husband
    Remind Me
    Untouchable

    Songs I Find Horrendous:
    Need Me
    Nowhere Fast
    Heat
    Offended
    Chloraseptic

    so at least out of 17 songs, I have 9 songs that I will likely be playing often.

    my biggest gripe with this album is that it seems so all over the place. it's like he just grabbed a bunch of songs he recorded in the last 2 years and tossed them together like a compilation album. there's too many songs here. I thought MMLP2's tracklist was a little messy, but this is next level messiness. The albums lows are like... REALLY low. Encore level low.. Relapse level low... f---ing low.

    That pink song? probably the worst. Either that or Offended. easily bottom of his career. Couldn't imagine that he could reach that level again. Offended is Big Weenie 2... Heat is So Far 2. 2Chainz dodged a bullet with Chloraseptic.

    but these albums highs are some of his best work in ages. Castle and Arose especially. Believe is insane as well. I want more of that from Em and I sure as h--- don't wanna wait another 4 years for it. Something irritating is that some of these could be salvaged to decent songs... Ditch the awful hook on Bad Husband and you have something at least halfway meaningful. Chop Untouchable down a couple minutes and you're fine. h---, I'm sure Chloraseptic could've been alright had you changed it from a 5 minute song to a 3 minute song.

    so yeah, not so sure how I feel right now. I'm amped off of the last few songs but still so mad at how bad some of the worst ones are. The highs are way above MMLP2, and some of them Recovery. The lows... ugh. I'll listen to it a few more times to see if anything grows on me or I just get sick of them... but that's where I'm at right now off my first listen.

    Believe, River, Like Home, Bad Husband, Nowhere Fast, In your head, castle, and arose are my clear favorites. Framed a guilty pleasure.

    I definitely see where people are coming from saying this album is all over the place. It does sound like Eminem took the "More life" approach and made a playlist of different tracks.

    The highs are fantastic, the lows are absolutely forgettable.

    I posted it several times, may make a thread or something tomorrow

    Basically in 4 years he mustered up 4 songs and then Paul have him 7-8 generic pop tracks to lay verses for

    Then trump was elected so that gave him ammo to write another two or three tracks

    At this point he knew the record s----d so went diving in his vault to find an old King Mathers song (undoubtedly what was to be his crown jewel for that record), slaved to finish and record it, to bookmark the album and hope everyone liked the record.
