    again, it feels like a compilation

    doesn't matter to me whether they are brand new or not, but we now have Castle and Arose. it's like how we got My Darling and Careful what you Wish For on Relapse.

    but you're right, there are several hints to the songs being old.

    @George Costanza you're wrong

    On Castle at 3:46 there is a blatant cut that changes the ending of the song into him overdosing on pills


    Then on Arose after the rewind at 3:38 at the exact same part as on Castle there is another cut, this one less obvious except you can tell the pitch is higher and there is no raspiness to his voice from that point onward

    I dont buy into the fact that he worked on this for a long period of time. Willing to bet he worked on this the past 6 months and sloppily threw some random collection of songs on here to release it before their move to Def Jam where Marshall can really hone in on his 2018-2020 "recovery"

    I personally believe some of the songs were thrown in from previous albums after trump didn't answer. explains the lack of political content, weird use of album cover and older sounding songs

    I don't get it. Before the album dropped everyone was saying em should just go to the vault n release old s---. Now apparently he did it and u guys are having and calling him lazy lol it's gotta be hard being eminem, u guys are the worst sometimes.

    I don't think it is, hes referenced wishing he didn't do recovery before just sounds how a proper mix on his vocals should sound. Dre probably did this one.

    Castle was 1000% recorded in 2010. The production is great and Eminem sounds much better on it then the majority of the album.

    This recording is from 2009/2010 but some of the writing is probably older.
    And there’s a small part from 2013 too
