    he was going on about how its the worst album ever made then 1 hour later calling every other song amazing and says it was a success...but also a 5/10

    someone should merge them into one song
    call it Castle/Arose.
    it'd be no different than any song rappers do where the beat switches half way through.

    really its sitting with me alot better now.. still some clunkers in the middle but overall decent... i don't think i'd ever pick this to listen to over Recovery or Relapse which both cover these topics very well, but Believe, River, Castle and Arose definitely can go in some playlists for me

    I'm guessing it's because many of Eminem's fans just have higher standards?

    I personally think Wayne is an joke and listen to only very few US rappers, because I don't like all too many of them. Eminem is on a level of fame that makes him have many fans that either listen to not many other mainstream rappers or, maybe, not even any other rappers at all. That's definitely less so with Wayne.

    i was bumping mmlp2 for days and days when it dropped, i listened to this in full maybe twice and i have no desire to press play anymore

    The biggest problem Eminem has is to do with the preparation for the album. I watched an interview with Cyhi the Prince where he talked about creating an album with Kanye. He said that when they work on an album for a year 8 months of that period is dedicated to brainstorming and discussing concepts and ideas for the album. Eminem just has his manager send emails to random people "we're gonna record send ideas" and then Eminem writes verses in his hermit cave without external validation. The guy's work ethic is seriously flawed.

    I wouldn't call them "great" (what's a 00-03 "average" Em song if those are great?) but I definitely agree they're by FAR the four best songs on this horrid album

    he wanted to make songs for everybody
    Em has a 20 year old career, he has a lot of different fans !!

    He made songs for everyone
    the early fans, the post hiatus fans, and newer ones.

    we have to accept that eminem doesn't make music for early hip hop stans like us anymore
    we had full albums of that
    now he's catering to a more diverse fanbase I guess.

    If you don't get that,
    You are delusional
    this sums up the whole album, and your reactions

    imo Alex Da Kid and Skylar Grey are the worst things that happened to him musically

    i like this album its not too bad okay 2 or 3 ssongs that i dont see the point off but it is what it is only thing annoying me is i dont have a device to listen to this on atm but when i get a new phone i will

    if Castle was on one of his older albums, peopel would be saying it was great

    if My Name Is were on this album, people would be saying it's just random silly crap that makes no sense
