Dec 15, 2017 He's trying to do too much different flows and sounds and concepts in the same album without much cohesion. If em took the trap songs from this for example, and added some more he'd actually have a pretty good trap album, but it doesn't sound as well as it would mixed with songs like remind me and framed. The something for everybody thing probably backfired especially with the album so f---ing lol. Em could have made 2 or three shorter and significantly better (classic even) with the same effort. Not to mention that attacking trump, p---- grabbing and apologizing to his wife in like 3 consecutive tracks honestly doesn't make much sense put together. It doesn't have a set tone and it makes an otherwise solid compilation come off as lacking to some people. Not to mention em doubling down on being corny as f--- us good to some people but bad to others. Might as well make a separate project for each audience which after hearing the album I think he could actually do. In before em hops on a future track.
Dec 15, 2017 nah the real problem is he either forgot how or stopped trying to produce good songs musically sometime around/after mmlp2 see; southpaw shadyxv and every feature leading up to this record not surprised

Dec 15, 2017 Yeah it definitely lacks cohesion and that's him trying to please everyone. All in all, I'd say it's an/a okay/good album but nothing to write home about. He should know his niche and he finds it in songs like framed, castle, and arose but it's all over the place. The result is him forcing s--- but he still did his thing. I do think we'll be getting something new within the next year though, and it'll be MUCH better.
