Dec 16, 2017 Yeah after watching the movie, I just knew it was gonna get a lot of hate. Nether the less I still really enjoyed it. There are so many movie series where people dont accept anything other than the originals and dont like change. I've never been like this, I still enjoy the prequels (the last jedi is much better), I'm quite eager to see where this goes. Idk if we are still doing spoilers but i'll be safe Spoiler I predicted that Luke will turn dark, they teased him that way and I thought I was on the money but, I'd say now, thankfully it wasnt to be, I really loved the way he went. Staring into the sky with the binary sunset song going. Just like in the first movie, I had tears... It's such a strong and beautiful song. Only problem I had was Snoke, no real background about him, but did Palpatine have much of a background in the originals? It was the prequals that set him up
Dec 16, 2017 i prefer episode 7 way more for me, episode 8 felt a lot like teasing with no payoff and action with no substance. i just could not get into the fact that BB robot was also shoved down the audience throat further in this movie with over the top moments, just all felt so cheesy.

Dec 16, 2017 Spoiler rey's parents reveal (hopefully kylo was lying but it didn't seem like it) snoke's death/lack of character development/explanation kylo made to look like a b----, getting tricked by luke with the lightsaber that him and rey just broke rey not recieving training yet being accepted as the last jedi luke being an absolute coward luke the guy who saw good in darth vader thinking of killing a child rey being good at literally everything she does yoda destroying the tree leia's horrible superman/mary poppins sequence finn/rose storyline being pointless in the grand scheme of things resistance struggling to find an exit and there's actually a HUGE cave they somehow didnt see holdo suiciding even though they could have just a droid do it? over abundance of quips and corny comedy i could go on
Dec 16, 2017 Saw it again. Amazing movie. Only part I hated was the whole casino place. Otherwise this movie was unpredictable as f---. Took a ton of risks. Made me like Rey way more.
