Listening to logics under pressure right now. If Eminem made this exact album people would go crazy over it and it will considered as instant classic. Its unreal how good logics flow is.

I hate Untouchable so much. Like how can you put something unlistenable like that on an album let alone use it as a single?????????? Biggest question of the universe rn. Revival without Untouchable is 100000000x better. Idc for content if something is as sonically unlistenable like that. Intro f----- me so bad.

So after a few days I can say this album is okay but pretty disappointing. The glimpses of greatness are few and far between. It's too bad that Eminem thinks the pop features are what people enjoy. Some people might like them, but speaking as someone who bought MMLP the day it came out, that is not at all what I like Eminem for. I think Eminem's biggest career misstep was scrapping Relapse 2. I've always been a bigger fan of Relapse than most, and since then we haven't heard Eminem over such good production, or riding the beats like that. MMLP2 had Ground Hog Day, Baby, and Brainless. This album doesn't have any songs with that type of energy. He's gone in a direction that I just don't like.

Songs I like are Believe, Chloraseptic (though I'm not big on the hook), Framed, Offended (this one has grown on me the most since it leaked), and Castle.

Arose is okay but sounds too much like When I'm Gone. I like his energy on Heat and Remind Me, but I wish he'd use that type of energy over better production. The rest are pretty forgettable. I just have no desire to hear these rehashed, boring pop songs. That Pink song is the most unnecessary contribution to any Eminem album. The Skylar Grey song has decent Eminem verses but that hook is just not for me.

There are moments where I think Eminem sounds amazing. But not many. I don't know why Eminem can't make an entire song in the flow he uses for like 4 bars towards the end of Chloraseptic ("enthusiastist of the roofie..."). Either way, I hope he continues making music. But we have to wonder, if this isn't his last album how much can he really have left at this age.
