Dec 19, 2017 I think it has alot to do with his type of fan base. Logic has a really loyal fanbase that will probably buy like 10-20 copies of his album. He sold a deluxe version of his album ONLINE only. Then they buy his itunes version and his actual CD. Not to say Em doesnt have a loyal fanbase but most of his fans probably illegal download his music. I remember when Logic's Everybody leaked 2 days before, all his fans said they were going to wait til it was released to listen to the album and they didnt want any spoilers.
Dec 19, 2017 No way, he just promoted it well. Em didnt let everyone know he was releasing his album til like 2 weeks before. Logic promoted his real well. He sells different versions of the album: 1. Regular CD sale at retail stores 2. Digital Sales on iTunes 3. Physical Deluxe version EXCLUSIVELY on his Logic store website 4. Physical Regular version AUTOGRAPHED on his Logic store website. 5. Sometimes he does a promotion for buying it on Google Play. For The incredible True Story he gave a free tshirt away with a purchase of the Google Play version. And he let everyone know about the album like a month or 2 before instead of 2 weeks before...
Dec 19, 2017 No hes not. Its irritating that most people dont even know Logic is a rapper after he released the 1-800 song. They think hes some kind of pop artist. Plus, you dont really hear much from him now after 1-800.

Dec 20, 2017 I don't really f--- with Logic outside his first album but I think he is fairly big. 18 million monthly listeners on Spotify 7 months after his album was released. In comparison Migos is on 19million monthly listeners. Future 21 million with 2 solo albums out this year and 2 collab albums. Not saying he is as big as them but he is not that far off.

Dec 20, 2017 I don't think it's that, tbh. The world knows Eminem exists again whenever he farts. He went from total silence to worldwide headlines with the Trump BET thing in a second. I think these sales are due to the fact for the first time - fans (core and casual) felt like they could predict the album, like they knew what sound they were going to get - due to the first single and the tracklist. I never felt so little hype for an Em album and I truly believe it's that. Because everybody just thought "Really? Again?... Next". Every other Em album, for better or worse, he was surprising and what I believe always sold his albums was 'how will he sound? and what's he going to say next?'. But once everybody saw the indication he was about to go f---ing HAM with the same tired, compromised format he's been using for 7 years now, likely resulting in similar content (which it did)... for like half the album... all of a sudden... the mystery is gone. So I bet many were like 'not checking for it'. They didn't care as much.
