Dec 27, 2017 We won’t havent to wait that long for another weezy project. I have a feeling he’s been storing a little bit of music so he can make a come back.
Dec 27, 2017 reminded me why my middle school self always hated on ymcmb No one can do it better than my man Nickel Nine
Dec 28, 2017 This is actually true. A lot of people give Wayne a pass for s--- they wouldn't excuse another more passionate artist for relaying in a more serious context and calculated manner. There isn't any real direction on any of his projects, post-S4TW2 and FWA. But about three songs on D6 would be saved in an effort to create memories in the near or far future with.
Dec 29, 2017 Wayne hashtagged #D6Reloaded on IG, and Jay Jones or whatever his f--- a--- name is has tagged it 3 times, so pretty sure there'll be no "Dedication 6 2" and it'll just be "Dedication 6 Reloaded" Probably about to be at least a few months before releasing, if he doesn't drop New Year's. Wayne only drops on holidays lately.
Dec 29, 2017 Oh great, a whole album where a rapper just spits over other artists' beats and production that was 'specifically' made for them. This kinda s--- never appealed to me.. and with the way modern music is (so focused on production) I don't see why it works for some people.
Dec 29, 2017 I'm not gonna look into this further but I'm familiar with the Dedication style of project and I just hate it tbh and Wayne doesn't have enough to say in 2017 anyways. But 'Family Feud' in particular from Jay's album had a strong identity tied to that project.
Dec 29, 2017 I kinda do wish he would do a mixtape with nothing but original StreetRunner and Heatmakerz instrumentation behind it. Would be classic and would also shush the whiny naysayers.
Dec 30, 2017 He raps better over the beats than the original rappers do. And most the beats don’t sound that original. Not many do these days.
Dec 30, 2017 Nowadays the 'beat' (not the best terminology) the 'production' has been made for a theme and a particular artist and their production in a more intertwined way. I would completely support your statement for the last generation of hip hop. That Jay beat has the same undertones as his whole 4:44 album, same sound, it's not f---ing 'mob deep - shook ones' or something aha.
