Jan 10, 2018 It does to me. When it's that all over the place. Because it's really extreme... Like the sounds of different eras completely, it just doesn't work for me. I grew up on albums, so that's what I judge - the overall impression, the overall experience. And if I'm left feeling 'wtf' at how jarring the whole listen was, because it doesn't make sense together sonically... it's a bad album to me. I can't just look at individual tracks.
