So to have it on a music video that focuses exclusively on the lyrics, pretty cringe. Honestly, I didn't f--- with this song when it came out originally... I felt like he was pandering, but I've always felt like the third verse was dope, and he speaks on some pretty real s---.

Feb 20, 2018 Kind of corny but the best way to portray this song probably. A lot of people didn't like that he was co-opting a black POV in the last part of the song, but expressing the POV through social media posts by (presumably) black people makes it more convincing, conceptually.
