May 1, 2018 I’d argue that it’s one of his top verses. The wordplay, mixing up of flows, content, anger etc is incredible. It’s a perfect response verse imo. One of the best things to come out of this era. It’s the closest to prime/MMLP-era Em we’ve ever had.

He even said so at some point, that he thinks Drake is dope but was going in the wrong direction and that he was trying to light a fire under his a---. I’m paraphrasing obviously, but he said something along those lines. So I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that’s what’s happening here too.
