    Underwhelmed on first listen. There are many moments where it sounds like the classic Royce wants it to be but it's not consistent. Woke, Dumb, Cocaine, Stay Woke big standouts. A few good cuts, and a few I hope grow on me.

    I like the overall vibe of the album, but there are a sizeable number of songs that just don’t do it for me. There are some poor artistic decisions here, but again, I can vibe to this.

    Royce albums always take a while to sink in. I don’t think it’s a bad project.

    Really disappointed that Pusha T didn’t get a verse, but he definitely killed that hook.

    IMO, this dude is one of the most consistently underrated rappers in the game.

    This has grown on me quite a lot. Some really good beats. I wish everything sounded like Dumb. Props to Royce for a lot of growth. This is easily his most experimental album in terms of his approach to vocals. Shame the Schoolboy feature didn't get cleared in time. The album is a bit lacking when it comes to straight rap songs, which I never thought I'd say about a Royce album. I really enjoy some of his singing on this though. Cocaine in particular is wonderful. It's also easily Royce's most personal album, and most ambitious too. Power is a tentpole song in Royce's career.

    It still has flaws. Though it diminishes on repeat listens, the structure of the album is really jarring. Short songs, long verses, meandering skits; you should never be be 3 tracks in with 1 minute of music (Woke is criminally short btw). It lacks rhythm, though when it is working it works really well. There's a couple of duds on the album. Anything/Everything sounds half-baked and goes nowhere. Life is Fair has nice content but the beat/hook/verses come together in a horrible, horrible way. Legendary and First of the Month are fine but unmemorable. Still a very good hit rate for an album of this length.

    Overall, it falls short of the classic Royce wants, but comes respectably close. I'm more than happy to hear him keep trying.

    I like Logics verse on Caterpillar remix.

    As a whole I like this album after 1 listen. Hope it continues to grow on me
